Knowledge is never enough to move one to leadership. Rather, it requires the discipline of choice and courage gained in the day-to-day application of one’s values, principles, and decisions in a manner that influences others and brings about change. To become a leader, an individual must experience what it is to lead from a self-awareness manifest in relationships, and unified in purpose and action.
