
George Golden, Ph.D., LP

George is a consulting psychologist, leadership coach, and adult educator. He has consulted with and developed leaders and organizations for 30 plus years, serving as a partner to enhance the learning, development and leadership effectiveness of managers and executives. As principal of Golden Management Psychologist, he coaches managers and executives in gaining self-awareness and new capabilities, in preparing for new assignments, in developing themselves and other people, and in building leadership talent. He also has extensive experience in assessment-based selection.
He is an adjunct faculty member in the MBA programs at the University of St. Thomas College of Business, where he formerly served as a tenured Associate Professor of management. He teaches managerial leadership, self-development, and spirituality at work seminars. George also advises doctoral students in several applied leadership programs. He is a co-founder of Leading Beyond, a leadership growth process for established leaders.
A Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Golden has a Ph.D. degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Purdue University and Masters degrees in psychology and philosophy. His community service includes volunteer work with the Center for Victims of Torture, Safe Water Plus, and Second Harvest Heartland.
