Bernard Saunders

Bernie specializes in leading-edge learning applications, and is recognized nationally for his pioneering work in the areas of Integrative/Accelerated Learning, the development of learning communities, and the use of art as a catalyst for achieving greater individual and collaborative change.

The co-author of the internationally acclaimed book, Ten Steps to a Learning Organization, Bernie has published numerous articles such as, Talents: It’s Never Too Late, and How To Get The Whole Staff Thinking, and has been featured in such magazines as, Carlson Learning Journal, Executive Excellence, and Executive Female.

Bernie exhibits has photographic fine art in organizations and galleries, and uses his art as the basis for guiding people to greater life/work balance, leadership competencies, creativity and clarity of purpose. His most recent art project is entitled, The Soul of Flowers, explores the inside world of flowers, and teaches the discipline of personal and professional reflection. He is the author of the personal development program, Boundless Renewal: Embrace the Power of Reflection.

Bernie has a degree in Business Management from St. Joseph’s College, and a Masters in Applied Theology from the Berkeley Graduate Theological Union. Bernie is certified in the emotional intelligence assessment tool, BarOn EQ-i, and is a licensed member of the EQ Network. He teaches leadership courses at The College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN.
